“Ruby’s rich photo of Sacramento’s “Tower Bridge at Sunset” graces our dining room. An iconic Sacramento landmark, those who have worked, lived, and romanced in the downtown and oldtown districts will relive those tender moments through Ruby’s art. She has captured a beautiful moment, enhanced even more by her artistic eye that evokes the vibrancy of life on the Delta.”
— LuAnn Higgs – Sacramento, California

“I’m always amazed with your talent and expertise of photography of nature. It’s as if you’re right there experiencing the beauty of nature itself in each photo presented. The realistic presence of the outdoors should be experienced by all individuals. I commend you on your gift of photography! Again this is such incredible talent that you have.”
— Helene Gonzales – Visalia, California

“I received Ruby’s sunset photo on a canvas and was surprised that I knew and used to visit the coastline photographed. I find myself coming back to admire the scene where it hangs in my hallway as a fond memory of summer in my teens.”

I’m a Nature Photographer from Northern California. My love for nature began as a child growing up on my family’s large Central California ranch, where I was surrounded by animals, acres of crops, clear water and blue skies. Observing the outdoors developed my creativity and Faith.
I’ve been a professional photographer since 2014. Now living in Folsom, CA with my husband David, and two feisty maltipoos, I dedicate my attention to photography full-time. My work is greatly influenced by my favorite painter, Christian Jequel. I’ve sold my work primarily in the U.S. and Europe.
I’ve been a featured artist in galleries, magazines, catalogs and on social media. I’ve received numerous honorable mention awards in International Photography Competitions. My photography has been on display at The Gallery at 48 Natoma, the Harris Center Bank of America Gallery, and has been included in the Crocker Art Museum’s “Big Names, Small Art” event.
After receiving my BA in English from UC Davis in 1986, I worked in advertising and marketing management for high-tech companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. I received my Law Degree from Santa Clara University in 2002.
